2022 – is the ninth year that our company is working. The activity of the company started in 2013 – a time, when technological opportunities and trends in the IT industry started to develop. Centicore started its journey as a telecommunication network provider. It was planned to continue to develop in the mobile data provision industry, Internet and Tv.
The first office with a limited number of employees was opened in Moscow – this is how an international organization with representatives all over Russia and outside of it started to advance. Due to quality service, appropriate management actions and diligent work of the employees we managed to acquire our first clients and declare ourselves to the high tech world.
A favorable situation on the telecommunication service market allowed us to gradually progress and grow. Already in the first years of working we were ready to offer our services to a large number of clients in many cities in Russia.
The becoming of the company continued during 2014 – not the easiest year for the country. Continuing to offer telecommunication services, the company widened its spectrum of services. Setting a course on innovative IT technologies, Centicore began working on software development and implementing custom IT-projects.
During this year new branches of the company opened in seven different cities in Russia, substantially increasing the audience of the company. This allowed us to create a client base and secure fast and promising scalability in the future.
The main achievement of 2014 was participating in a digital project “Bezopasnyiy gorod”. Working with the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Krasnodar city administration, we managed to develop a new concept of hardware and software complex, combining all blocks of this complicated system.
In 2015 Centicore reached more than 15 thousand clients. We implemented a new technology Gpon (Gigabit Passive Optical Network) between Russian providers, based on which systems for wideband access to the internet are built. Now each buyer has an opportunity to use the network at the highest speed possible. Due to this innovation the company progressed and opened 4 more representatives in other cities in the country.
The software development industry didn’t stand still either. After analyzing the results and the outlooks the management decided to improve the C++ technological stack. This is how the base for future advancement in software development was created. The new stack positively impacted on the speed of the developments, and decreased the price of the work. The company was becoming more and more competent and focused on truly large-scale projects, for millions of users.
Just in four years of existing Centicore became a big player in the telecommunication service industry. The client mark reached over 20 thousand people – this indicator reflects the comfort of our services and the trust of our users vividly.
During this same year Centicore was marked by the Ministry of information technologies and cellular network of Russian Federation and received a certificate, confirming the quality of its IP/MPLS network. This document guarantees the compliance of the VPN service with the MPLS technology with the requirements of the willful system certification “Svyaz – kachestvo”.
We have undergone the requirements such as, reliability, user properties and performance. On the certification tests, all of our service values received a higher level.
Now, being an officially certified company, Centicore became one of the main internet-providers. This opened new development opportunities for us, including, concluding a contract with some of the biggest private and government-owned corporations in the country.
In its fifth year of working in the technological niche Centicore further expanded its customer base. At that moment our services were being used by 23,000 people.
The main achievement of 2017 was entering joint agreements with some of the most renowned federational operators. Centicore became partners with Megafon, Transtelecom, Rostelecom and others. As many experts and analytics later said, our cooperation brought a huge benefit to all citizens of Russia. It led to optimization of traffic routing and increase in service quality for clients – users of the Internet, as well as contributing to the improvement of Russia’s Internet-segment as a whole.
Besides progress as an Internet-provider, Centicore was actively gaining experience in its second field of activity – development of software. Working on various IT-projects, we mastered new skills and enhanced the concept of the entire company. Working in a tandem, engineers and programmers were creating the future multidisciplinary IT-company with a major international brand.
The number of people who chose us as their provider reached an anniversary mark of 25,000 clients. The numbers have shown that despite the obstacles on our path, we still continued to steadily progress and increase our share on the telecommunication service market.
Our cooperation with “colleagues in the industry” – other mobile and cellular data operators, did not stand still. During this stage establishing networks and constructive experience exchange were some of the main goals for the company.
This is how, for example, a partner agreement was achieved with Nesk-Electroseti, one of the leading electric grid companies in the South of Russia. This partnership helped us to spread our sphere of influence in the Krasnodar region, and establish ourselves as the main communication service provider in the area.
2019 was a pivotal year in the development of Centicore. An event that was brewing for a few years has occurred. The management made an important decision on changing the company’s activity vector and took the chance to work in the software development industry. The telecommunication services were sold to the Rostelecom company, and software development became our main focus.
While working as a provider Centicore substantially advanced on the market of cellular communication services, Internet and TV. More than 27,000 people became our clients.
Centicore had new ambitions, and with the goal of effective implementation it was important to correctly approach the new industry, taking into account all nuances and details.
The experience gained from previous years of development helped us to settle in the new industry. Centicore was able to efficiently prioritize tasks that were to be completed.
Firstly, Centicore started to create a new technical specialist base. Skilled and experienced workforce was required to perform effective work. They were invited to give the company an opportunity to compete with successful representatives of the industry.
The most promising areas in the field were highlighted, namely: the oil and gas and bank industries, the development of complex systems with the use of advanced technology (Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Blockchain and others). The focus on said industries proved to be the right decision – in that same year the first 20 companies became our partners and customers. The trust from the market showed the level of competency and quality of offered services.
The year 2021 was full of exciting events. According to the development plan it was time to demonstrate the results of our work to the Russian IT community. Having participated in several large tenders, Centicore won the right to implement large-scale projects.
Centicore came out as the winner in a large GazpromNeft company’s tender, which subsequently became a responsible challenge in the development area. In addition to this achievement, there were other major projects with well-known contracting companies. Additionally, Centicore began to negotiate about the purchase of promising technologies, for example, StormChain.
Having established itself as a top-notch IT company on the Russian market, Centicore decided to enter the worldwide market. The first step was the creation of an international brand called SoftStars Development. This opened a path to the international community of developers and paved the way for future advancement on a global level.
New solutions and implemented innovative technologies allowed us to start working in new fields of development. By the end of the year we had experience in areas such as insurance, energy, medicine and biotechnologies.
In its ninth year of working Centicore summed up the results of implemented solutions. A number of various projects have been completed: we achieved good results as a team of developers. The amount of successfully implemented IT-projects in different areas (more than 500) reflects the quality of completed work.
Based on the implemented plans a decision was made to create a group of companies called Centicore Group. At the moment it consists of 3 companies. Said units are engaged with innovative technologies – from Safe protocol of data exchange to Blockchain platforms.
Moreover, in 2022 the company opened an office abroad. Centicore was now represented in HonkHong – one of the leading megacities and financial centers of the world, a city where major IT-giants are based. The start of our team’s work in China became a new starting point in the life of the company.
