DevOps

Due to team expansion and project scaling, Centicore is looking for DevOps engineers for a project developing a new banking payment channel.

What you will be doing:

• Solid experience with Linux – Redhat/Centos and Astra/Redos, etc.
• Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL), ability to deploy and create databases, migrations, Patroni
• Experience deploying REST services, understanding HTTP requests, working with swagger/postman/curl
• Experience writing pipelines in Jenkins for Java/.Net
• Experience with GitLab and similar systems
• Understanding the entire software development pipeline and delivery to different environments (dev/test/prod)
• Implementing standardized CI/CD processes from scratch
• Working with Git and branches, understanding branching strategies and standard approaches
• Understanding the basics of SOA/MSA
• Deploying K8S clusters
• Working with Docker, writing Dockerfiles, Docker Compose
• Experience deploying Kafka clusters
• Understanding of networking stack and networks
• Ability to write documentation in Confluence, track tasks in Jira

Responsibilities:

• Participating in Bank project activities to achieve business goals
• Implementing standardized CI/CD processes from scratch
• Maintaining Git, Jenkins
• Contributing to the architectural part of the deployment project
• Working with Jira, writing technical documentation
• Supporting releases, troubleshooting, assisting with configuration
• Close collaboration with the development team
• Understanding Deployment diagrams
• Conducting code reviews
• Embedding the DevOps process in a new technology stack
• Training and mentoring developers
• Participating in implementation and support of systems

Will be a plus:

• Linux administration experience (preferably RHEL, SLES)
• Experience with cloud services (preferably Yandex.Cloud)
• Database administration experience (MS SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Vertica)
• Experience administering Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD
• Experience administering SonarQube
